Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This policy explains what Play Thirteen (playthirteen.io) collects, why, and how long it is kept. The site is operated by Roastlechon, LLC, a limited liability company operating in Florida and New Jersey, United States.
The short version: there are no accounts, we never ask for your name, email address or payment details, and we do not sell your personal information. The only thing you tell us is the display name you pick to play with. Advertising cookies are used only if you allow them, and visits are counted without cookies.
What we collect
Game data
- The display name you choose and a randomly generated player ID. Neither is verified or linked to your identity, and you can change the name at any time.
- Messages you send in a game room, which are visible to the other players in that room.
- Gameplay state — your hand, scores and the moves you make during a round.
- Game settings you configure, stored in your own browser.
Technical data
- Request logs kept by our hosting providers, including your IP address, browser and the pages requested. These are used to run and secure the site.
- Aggregate visit statistics — pages viewed, referrer, country, and device and browser type, counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and uses no identifier that could follow you between sites or visits.
- Advertising identifiers, if you consent — cookies and similar identifiers used by Google to select and measure ads.
We do not collect special category data, we do not build profiles about you ourselves, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
Why we are allowed to use it
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interests for running, securing and debugging the site and for running a game you joined; and your consent for advertising cookies, which you can withdraw at any time. Where US state privacy laws apply, we process this data to provide the service you asked for and, with your permission, for advertising.
How long it is kept
- Game rooms are held in Cloudflare Durable Objects (United States). Room data lives only while the room is open and is deleted when the room closes. It is not written to any long-term database.
- Room listings: A Cloudflare D1 row recording only the room code, the number of players and whether the room is public. The row is deleted when the room empties. It contains no personal information.
- On your device: your display name, player ID and game settings stay in your browser's local storage until you clear them.
- Request logs are kept by our hosting providers for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
- Visit statistics are aggregate counts held by Cloudflare. They describe traffic, not people, and cannot be traced back to you.
Who else is involved
We use a small number of service providers, all located in the United States:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, room state and request logs)
- Cloudflare, Inc. (Web Analytics)
- Google LLC (Google AdSense, and its advertising partners)
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, your data is transferred to the United States. These providers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses for those transfers.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. If you consent to personalised advertising, ads may be tailored to you; if you do not, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
You can review and change your choices at any time through the Privacy settings link in the footer of this site, and you can opt out of personalised Google advertising entirely at Google Ads Settings. More detail on how Google uses advertising data is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Your choices and rights
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the Privacy settings link in the footer, and you can clear everything this site stored on your device by clearing site data in your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request access to your personal information, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, object to how we use it, or opt out of targeted advertising and of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To make a request, email support@roastlechon.io. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
Because we hold no account for you, we may be unable to connect a request to any stored data — in most cases there is nothing kept that identifies you. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and we will ask for your cookie consent again where the change requires it.
